A non-profit society in the new millennium -

The Delta Symphony Society is a registered non-profit charitable society with the Government of BC that welcomes donations and issues tax-receipts for contributions made to the Orchestra. We depend on fund raising and a non-stop search for corporate sponsors and private donations so that we can keep on delivering this fine arts educational program to the citizens of the Fraser delta area. In recent years government funding for arts education has been under attack in this province. We need your help for our continued survival, and growth into the next millennium. We believe that the Delta Youth Orchestra provides a much needed arts educational experience for the youth and future of British Columbia. Many Delta Youth Orchestra alumni have chosen careers as professional musicians and music educators, as well as countless other professions. Our alumni are members of various professional orchestras throughout Canada, as well as leading music educators in school districts throughout British Columbia. Please lend your support to the Delta Youth Orchestra, so we can continue to enrich the lives of so many.
