DSS awards
Since 1971 the Delta Symphony Society and the Delta Youth Orchestra have been recognizing the talents of the young musicians of the Delta Youth Orchestra. This is an archival list of previous winners of the Delta Symphony Society (DSS) Awards, the Harry Gomez Memorial Awards, and the DSS Concerto Competition. Awards are presented in June of each year, based on competitive auditions with an outside adjudicator together with marks from individual conductors.

Every attempt has been made to make this list as comprehensive and correct as possible, we apologize for any errors.
